Terms and Conditions

Welcome to the CAP Supporter Shop. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all purchases made through our store. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. 

1. Parties and General Information 
1.1. Christians Against Poverty (“CAP”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is a registered charity in England and Wales (No. 1097217) and in Scotland (SC038776). Our registered office is Jubilee Mill, North Street, Bradford, BD1 4EW. 
1.2. All profits generated from the sale of our products are donated to Christians Against Poverty to support its charitable work helping individuals and families out of debt and poverty. 
1.3. This online store and the sale of all physical goods are managed and operated on behalf of CAP by Propack (Propack Direct Mail Ltd), a commercial trading entity acting as the fulfilment and sales partner. 
1.4. Any questions relating to your order, payment, or delivery should be directed to caporders@wearepropack.co.uk  

2. Purchasing and Order Acceptance 
2.1. When you place an order through this online store, you are entering into a contract with Propack, not directly with CAP. CAP is the beneficiary of the profits but is not a contracting party in the sale.  
2.2. Once you have completed your purchase, you will receive an email confirming receipt of your order. This confirmation does not constitute acceptance of your order. Acceptance occurs when Propack dispatches the goods. 
2.3. All prices are listed in pounds sterling (£) and include VAT where applicable. 
2.4. We make every effort to ensure all prices are accurate at the time of publication. If a pricing error occurs, you will be notified before your order is processed. 
2.5. Prices may be subject to change, but the price confirmed at checkout is the final amount payable. 
2.6. Payment is securely processed by Propack using recognised payment providers. No payment details are handled or stored by CAP. 

3. Delivery and Fulfilment (Managed by Propack) 
3.1. Propack is responsible for the printing, packing, and dispatch of all orders. CAP is not responsible for the physical supply or delivery of products. 
3.2. Delivery charges are calculated by Propack according to their standard shipping rates. All applicable charges will be displayed at checkout before payment is completed. 
3.3. Estimated delivery times are provided in good faith by Propack, but these are indicative only. 
3.4. During peak seasons such as Christmas, delivery may take longer than usual. 
3.5. Neither CAP nor Propack will be liable for delays caused by factors beyond their reasonable control (e.g. postal delays, strikes, severe weather). 
3.6. Orders are currently fulfilled within the United Kingdom. For international delivery requests, please contact caporders@wearepropack.co.uk before placing an order. 

4. Returns, Refunds, and Cancellations 
4.1. If your order arrives faulty, damaged, or incomplete, please contact caporders@wearepropack.co.uk within 30 days of receipt, including a description and, if possible, a photograph of the issue. 
4.2. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact caporders@wearepropack.co.uk within 30 days of receiving your order. 
4.3. Items must be returned: 
       4.3.1. Unused and in original condition, 
       4.3.2. In original packaging, and 
       4.3.3. Accompanied by proof of purchase. 
4.4. Refunds will be processed once the returned goods are received and inspected. 
4.5. You may cancel your order before dispatch by emailing caporders@wearepropack.co.uk. Once goods have been dispatched, please follow the returns procedure above. 
4.6. Personalised or custom-made items cannot be refunded unless they are faulty or damaged on arrival. 
4.7. This policy does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. 

5. Intellectual Property and Website Use 
5.1. All content on the CAP Supporter Shop website, including text, images, designs, logos, and artwork, is the intellectual property of CAP. 
5.2. All functional website content, photography, and product descriptions are managed by Propack and may be the property of either CAP, Propack or their licensors. 
5.3. You may not reproduce, distribute, or otherwise use any content without prior written permission. 
5.4. You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights or restrict the use of the site by others. 

6. Data Protection and Privacy 
6.1. Your personal information is collected by Propack for the purpose of processing and fulfilling your order. Relevant data may also be shared with CAP to record donations and manage reporting obligations. 
6.2. Both Propack and CAP handle your data in accordance with CAP’s Privacy Notice, the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.  
6.3. You will only receive marketing or fundraising communications from CAP if you have provided explicit consent. You can withdraw consent at any time by using unsubscribe links in any CAP communication.

7. Liability 
7.1. Propack and CAP will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising out of or in connection with the sale or use of products. 
7.2. This includes, without limitation, loss of profits, data, or goodwill. 
7.3. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law. 

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction 
8.1. These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. 
8.2. Any disputes arising out of these Terms or your use of the CAP Supporter Shop will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
